Which is best and would you recommend in navigation system in the car tomtom brand or garmin?
I’m trying to buy a good navigation system
From experience, I would have to go with Garmin, I’ve always felt they’re a little easier to use and quicker to navigate through. But the best thing you could do is go to Circuit City or Best Buy and tinker around with them. Get a feel for which you you like (the menus, the database, features, etc) and then make your decision. Another company you may want to look into is Lowrance. I really enjoyed their product when it came out and it is a little more affordable.
